When liquid coolant isn't an option, some other method of chip clearing is extremeley beneficial when cutting just about any material. I hooked up the compressed air in our shop to some tubing and attached it to a bent piece of aluminum. The whole assembly is attached to the Othermill's Motor Mount with two adorable M3 thumb screws.
In order to route the tubing out the top of the mill, I had to cut off part of the top hat. For dimensions of the Motor Mount's captive M3 nuts, and more, check out OMC's support guide here.
With the creation of the Bit Fan since I built this, chip clearing is now much easier in my Othermill.
