Eric contributed to the design and fabrication of two payloads for OrbitFab, a Bolt portfolio company, to get them from company founding to hardware on the ISS in less than 6 months.

Eric is an engineer and designer interested in enabling others to build products. He currently runs the prototyping shop and assists portfolio companies with product design at Bolt in San Francisco.

Previously, he developed products such as CNC machines, medical devices, payloads for the International Space Station (see photo), robotics kits, and a variety of consumer products. Eric enjoys being in fabrication spaces where he can build. He is an Alumnus of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech, where he created the Atlanta Maker Faire, which is in its ninth year and still free to attend.

In addition to working with startup companies every day, Eric also assists local students with completing their mechatronic projects as a Design Fellow at Jacobs Hall at UC Berkeley.

Please contact Eric if you are interested in collaborating or have questions about his work.
