This table was my first exploration into using a hardwood slab to make a piece of furniture. I purchased a long slab of butternut from Peroba Reclaimed and immediately cut it in half, with the intent of making two pieces with it. The second half of the slab was used for the Side Table.
I used square aluminum tubing for the frame and simple 3d-printed plugs to keep the legs constrained.
